Connecting the Community
Our impact begins with our vision, which is to have adab (good character), share knowledge, and show love in order to strengthen youth, families, and communities around the world.
Nurturing children, strengthening adults and honoring elders has been central to the Islamic tradition since its beginnings. Through original and creatively designed services for youth, adults and seniors, Sanad Trust is working towards building a network of soul-centered neighborhood centers across North America. Services for the child, the parent, and the elders all work in tandem to strengthen their ability and make easy for them their task.
Our Impact by The Numbers
Sanad Prep students have graduated with distinction, been accepted to their university of choice, admitted to honors colleges, and all have received academic scholarships covering up to 100 percent of their tuition.
Youth, adults, and elders positively impacted through our learning initiatives, community services, and wellness programs creating a truly comprehensive, forward-thinking, inter-generational non-profit Foundation.
The first and only blended learning model to: integrate an accredited curriculum and technology; coordinate learning coach, teacher, student, and parent relationship to achieve student potential; and establish a personal, soul-centered learning environment focused on character development.

From a rebellious, demotivated, gradually deteriorating student to becoming socially engaged, emotionally happy and academically strong with all A’s on their report card, Kahlid’s parents shared their gratitude with tears of joy at the transformation they witnessed in their child through Sanad Prep.

How can I be a better role model for my children…? 30+ Parents and Families gather in a safe space through parenting workshops, open village forums, and parent nights to discuss, share and find answers to these critical questions. Finding clarity and support provides joy and grounding to the parents and the family as a unit.

From riding bikes on sandy beach of Florida to sipping tea while munching on freshly based muffins, from kayaking in the natural preserves of Broward to the hymns of remembrance by a quiet lakeside, from biking miles along the Florida Everglades State Park to playing sports as fathers and sons or mothers and daughters, the memories built and bonds made in those moments are crucial to our individual and collective growth.

You can hear the gentle murmurs of Nasim Aunty sharing her wisdom with wide eyes 8-10 year old in Islamic Studies class; witness an energetic college student engrossed in solving an Algebra or statistics problem with a high school student; a homemaker coaching an active group of boys in basketball, or entire family bringing trays of home made samosas for a guardians picnic, the opportunities are many and diverse.
