Inspired by the way of the Prophetic community, the intention of the Neighborhood Halaqa is to come together for the purpose of remembering Allah and reflecting on Prophetic character. Every member of a family and community are invited to travel together in spiritual development and to improve our relationship with Allah, His messenger, and our faith.

This month’s edition, in particular, is special because it falls within the last 10 days of Ramadan. We already know from prophetic tradition that gatherings of remembrance and reminders are loved by Allah. In fact, angels search for such gatherings around the earth so they can be a part of them and make note of those in attendance. Then what can be said of gatherings when they are held in these blessed days? The days and nights of Ramadan are not like the rest of the days and nights of the year. This month is filled with apparent and hidden treasures that are open to anyone who seeks them. It is a time when shayateen are chained and the believers have an uninterrupted opportunity to gain Allah’s gaze and good pleasure. We invite you to join us in this intention on Saturday, April 15th at 5:30 pm at the Sanad Sanctuary for this month’s halaqa, to have iftar with us, and to share dinner.
