So, I thought I would have a very different conversation with the Sanad Prep SOKs on their way up to the MIST 2016 competition this past Friday. They were struggling to raise funds for the film equipment needed to create the short film submission. They were struggling because of their lack of social media involvement, which I thought was a good thing. I decided to write a short note on their behalf late Thurs, the day before their trip and a couple days before the fundraising campaign was to end. By mid morning, on Jummah the next day we they had the funds! Masha’Allah. I myself don’t really understand how this social media thing works too well. But, through my work with Sanad Trust Foundation I have seen the generosity of the human spirit. And I have seen (and experienced) how that generosity lifts the human spirit. Allah is aware of our anxieties and concerns. Sometimes He sends generous souls to the rescue. Thank you to all who gave, shared, and prayed for this small need. We ask that you continue to do so for the humble efforts of Sanad Trust Foundation and Sanad Prep, to change the world for the better…one SOK (student of knowledge) at a time. I pray Allah reward you all for your good.
